Quick Death
(Preview)
Is it me or does everyone think that Smaug died a bit too quick? I guess it means that there's more evil to come but still, why did he have to die so quick without even killing a few (more?) people or something? It's a bit disappointing.

Smaug's Weak Spot
(Preview)
What do you think would have happened if Smaug didn't have a "weak" spot where Bard could have shot the arrow to kill him? How do you think that would change the story? Also how do you think Smaug got that spot on his chest that wasn't covered in armor in the first place?

Smaug dying
(Preview)
Awesome! Smaug's dead... but is that a good thing or a bad thing? Think about it, a huge hoarde of treasure is waiting on the mountain but there's a lot of people who want it, got it first, or deserve some for compensation. Do you think it would've been better for everyone if Smaug was still alive and guard...

Black Arrow
(Preview)
On page 269 in the black book, it says that "no arrow hindered Smaug or hurt him more than a fly from the marshes". If no other arrow hurt him, why could Bard's black arrow kill Smaug? That's probably a really stupid question, but it's confusing me.

Bard not Bilbo
(Preview)
So Bard killed Smaug. I find it very disappointing that Bilbo, our little hero, did not defeat Smaug himself. DO you think Bilbo had any role at all in Smaug's death. Not so much as being on the battlefield, but rather did he do anything before hand that vould have helped Smaug's demise?
