bard and the Thrush


Whoot for Bard!!! All thanks too the thrush on page 250... is he the same thrush on page 228!!!!?? I think so. And i don't really get the symbolism of the black arrow on page 251, could someone help me out?

I'm pretty sure its the same thrush...

On page 257, in the little green books, Bilbo says..

"There is that old thrush again!"


And the black arrow...

It kills Smaug.
What color do you think of when you think of death?
