Cause he is a powerful dragon and he can do what he wants and he's selfish.pg.186 "His rage passes description-the sort of rage that is only seen when rich folk that have more that they can enjoy suddenly lose something that they have long had but never had a use for." See selfish he does not need it he wants it.
