Yes....I think there will be a battle!!I hope they take the dwarfs side!!Page 275 Gandalf says "If I am not mistaken,there are some unpleasent times before you."

On page 274 in the little green boook it says"He untied it and hid it,and when sat down on the wall and wondered anxiously what would happen next."Either Bilbo is wondering what would happenn to him in the morning or what would happen the long run but either way i think it applies to what will happen in the long run.And i think if it really came down to it they would choose the dwarves and Bilbo says on page 273 "But i dont think i should leave my friends like this,after all we have gone through together." so he does want to stay with his friends
