How do you think Smaug had remembered the smell of dwarves?

Dwarves did live under the mountain and then Smaug came and cleaned them out, and since Smaug is a dragon and dragon's have magical powers he probably just knew the smell.

Maybe he thought that the dwarfs tasted so good when he ate them last,that he made sure to never forget that smell!!hmm.gif
