When Gandalf "burned" the wolfs,do you think he was thinking of the other problems that could have happened? Such as burnng part of the forest down. What would have you done?! What would you have felt?!

I would have been like; what the heck?!! He's gonna burn the forest down! But Gandalf was too scared to think of the consequences and he just acted.

He probably did however realized that he didn't have too many options about what to do about the wolves. Well considering way back when when the story took place that there were bajillions of trees, i wouldn't have felt too bad about burning them down, but I would've done the same.

I think that Gandalf, as wise as he is, he was thinking of the precautions that went along with using fire to get rid of the wolves and goblins. It is was me I probably would have not even used fire to fight my battles because fire is way too dangerous and harmful. Even though, I love to play with fire, I definetley wouldn't have used it in that matter. I would have felt scared and baffled with what I should do.

probably not because he was just thinking one step at a time he was about to be eaten you know.besides he might not have known that the trees would catch on fire that fast

At he time, he didn't have many options and he really didn't want to be held up in a tree (Seriously, who would?) all night, so maybe, like we all do, he made a rash descision.
