What do you think will happen to the treasure?? Towards the end of the chapter when bard is talking to Thorin about getting some share in the treasure they ended by saying pretty much give us some of the treasure or we're enemies and there might be war. So what do you think Thorin will do?

On page 265 it said"Then Thorin seized a bow of horn and shot an arrow at the speaker".I think that means that Thorin will fight for the treasure.

Spoiler
Ok.. I know there's going to war because I already read that part. =) Yay! I can work the spoiler button thingy! This isn't much of a spoiler though...
I think Thorin will be persistent. On pg 265LGB "Long hours in the past days Thorin had spent in the treasury, and the lust of it was heavy on him." and also a few other pages the author mentions the "lust of the treasure". Each day Thorin spends with the treasure the more determined he gets to keep it. I doubt Thorin will give any of it up eithout a fight. *In the VERY end, I don't know what will happen to the treasure, but I'm guessing that Thorin will eventually give/(be forced to give) everyone their rightful share of the treasure and he'll keep his happy little share.

By "the speaker" in the context written above, does that mean the person speaking, or does it mean an object, like a speaker for music? More likely its a person, but the elves and the dwarves are not that close to eachother, so how would they hear without some sort of a sound magnifying device? Ooh, that sounded nerdy...
