The Master

On pg. 211 in my book, it was written that "...The Master himself was turning to his great glided boat, hoping to row away in the confusion and save himself." How would you have felt if the "master" of the town you live in, a place you, would have just left you there to die. [spoiler]

I think I would be angry just like they were on page 252 where it says, " and their first complaints and anger were against the Master, who had left the town so soon, while some were still willing to defend it.

I would feel angry and maybe betrayed that our leader who supposedly cared about us just left us to defend his town, most likely for him to just come back and rule it again. I too
would have prefered a King Bard to a ...ahem...Master

pg253 in the LGB:

("We will have King Bard!")-(till the clamour echoed along the shore)

I would be angry for him leaving and not helping them to defend the town. On page 252 the village people want Bard to be king because the king didn't fight and bard was the last man standing, the village people started to yell "King Bard!".

I would have been angry just like the people of the town were, it says on page252 in my book that "...and their first complaints were against the Master, who had left the town so soon, while some were willing to defend it."
So, I think that I would have felt the same way.
