On page 248 it said "Soon the town would be deserted and burned down to the surface of the lake."So it probebly would have all been dead!!

On page 248 in the old school book with the funny looking bilbo on the cover, the town would have been burned to the ground and everyone with it without the thrush unless someone knew and told him. What I want to know is why the thrush told him and where he came from
