Ok so I'm a little confused, what is Gollum??? The way he talks I keep wanting to think he's a snake, but by the author's description of him I'm pretty sure he's not. Somebody mentioned something about him changing forms into Smaug or something. Do ya'll know anything about that?

I THINK he used to be a hobbit. I THINK. I've never seen the Lord of the Ring or anything... but I have a friend who has and she said Gollum used to be a hobbit named Smeagol(sp?)
That's just what she told me... so I've kinda thought of him as that 8D

I just think he's a gollum. In my opinion, I think he must have like, turned into that from being underground and stuff so much.
