Do you think that even if Bilbo had decicded to kill Gollum, that he would have died? Do you think that he is even actually alive?

yes he would have died and if he wasn't alive he wouldn't need to eat or be worried about the goblins finding him.number1.gif

Yeah he would have died , I mean he is alive although I don't get how he transformed from Smegl (that's not how you spell I know sorry) to the sub-human he is now.yawn.gif

Kate, Okay I think he's alive... about the "would have died" part, is he immortal?

Hey to answer your question I don't think Gollum would have died even if Bilbo had tried to kill him because I don't think he is actually real. I don't know exactly how to explain it , but I think he is like a spirit or something. I wonder if Bilbo will run into Gollum again? I kind of have a hunch that he might since he has to get the ring back.biggrin.gif

yes i think he would have died, and hopefully he does before bilbo does eventually.
